GEPRC Woopower W63 Firmware Update
Having issues discharging batteries that are full? Well there is a firmware update that fixes that.
Follow this easy step-by-step guide to enable discharge mode on your charger:
Step 1: Download and Unzip the Firmware
Once downloaded, unzip the file. You’ll find a file named app.upga inside.
Step 2: Enter Firmware Update Mode
Press and hold the round dome button on your charger.
While holding it, connect the charger to your PC via USB.
The charger’s screen will stay off, which is expected.
Your PC will detect the charger as a new storage device.
Let go of the button.
Step 3: Copy the Firmware File
Open the newly detected storage device.
Drag and drop the app.upga file into the charger’s root folder.
When the copy is complete, safely eject the charger.
Step 4: Restart and Test
Disconnect and power on your charger as usual.
The firmware update will install automatically.
After restarting, the discharge function should now work properly.
Important Note:
Even after applying the update, the charger’s firmware version will still display as 1.0.0. This is normal and does not indicate a failed update, the discharge feature will still work.
