GEPRC Woopower W63 Firmware Update

Having issues discharging batteries that are full? Well there is a firmware update that fixes that.

Follow this easy step-by-step guide to enable discharge mode on your charger:

Step 1: Download and Unzip the Firmware

• Download the firmware here.

• Once downloaded, unzip the file. You’ll find a file named app.upga inside.

Step 2: Enter Firmware Update Mode

• Press and hold the round dome button on your charger.

• While holding it, connect the charger to your PC via USB.

• The charger’s screen will stay off, which is expected.

• Your PC will detect the charger as a new storage device.

• Let go of the button.

Step 3: Copy the Firmware File

• Open the newly detected storage device.

• Drag and drop the app.upga file into the charger’s root folder.

• When the copy is complete, safely eject the charger.

Step 4: Restart and Test

• Disconnect and power on your charger as usual.

• The firmware update will install automatically.

• After restarting, the discharge function should now work properly.

Important Note:
Even after applying the update, the charger’s firmware version will still display as 1.0.0. This is normal and does not indicate a failed update, the discharge feature will still work.
